Guard Ian entered the world as a Lion but identifies as a kestrel. Guard Ian also wants to be a male kestrel in principle but feels more like a female lion when it comes to pride. At age 14 Guard Ian also realised that a group of lions is called a “pride” whilst looking at a kestrel. Complicated. Ian was fed up with pronouns. And kestrels. This Ian thinks that the world complicates everything too much which is why it/they just wants to save people from drowning at the beach. Fundamentally Guard Ian thinks that at the end of the day we are all just living organisms and “who gives a fuck what we identify as!?”. We fully agree. (Guard Ian has only eaten 4 of the 67 people they’ve saved).
