Classically trained in the competitive minefield known as the “Gansu Province Child Prodigies of Advanced Chinese Students earmarked for Potential Greatness Academy”, Music Ian has only ever known aggressive, albeit very supportive synthesiser encouragement from his elders on the old ivories. Music Ian learnt to play a Casio CTK-700 before he could walk and ever since then has been the proudest of panda’s amongst his bamboo loving peers. Though his species may be in sharp decline, his ability to write an electricity-charged opera has not. You could say music is his life, he didn’t even know his name was Ian until he turned thirteen and a half whilst on a tour of Taiwan’s vintage Hi-Fi stores in 2017. Volume up
